About Sta. Ana JARS
Sta. Ana Journal of Action Research Studies (Sta. Ana JARS) is a digital publication platform that showcases innovative action research conducted by public school teachers across Sta. Ana District. It aims to foster a culture of reflective practice, professional growth, and data-driven decision-making among teachers—highlighting the practical impact of research in improving education delivery.
This pioneering project was conceptualized, designed, and developed by Mr. Wedzmer B. Munjilul, Head Teacher of Sta. Ana Central Elementary School, in April 2025. Driven by a strong vision to provide a unified platform for Sta. Ana educators to share their studies, Mr. Munjilul transformed the concept into a fully functioning digital repository that values innovation, accessibility, and academic integrity.
The initiative was approved for implementation by Alejandro G. Curay, PhD, the Public Schools District Supervisor of Sta. Ana District Schools since the end of fiscal year 2021, who has supported the project.
Sta. Ana JARS also acknowledges the recognition and support of Dr. Mack Arthur Gamayot, Senior Education Program Specialist for Research of the Schools Division Office of Davao City, and the overarching leadership of Reynante A. Solitario, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent of Davao City, whose guidance fosters a thriving environment for research in basic education.
This journal stands as a testament to grassroots innovation—by teachers, for teachers—and invites you to browse, contribute, and collaborate.
