✍️ Submit a Study
We invite teacher-researchers from Sta. Ana District and beyond to contribute to the growing collection of scholarly work in Sta. Ana JARS. To ensure quality and alignment with national policies, submissions must follow these three important steps:
📝 1. Manuscript Preparation
Your study must adhere to the guidelines set in DepEd Order No. 13, s. 2015 and DepEd Order No. 39, s. 2016. These orders emphasize the importance of research that is:
- Relevant to educational challenges in your school or district;
- Ethical, ensuring participant consent and data privacy;
- Practical and replicable within the basic education system;
- Well-structured, including Introduction, Problem Statement, Intervention, Methodology, Results, and Reflections.
Authors must ensure manuscripts are clear, concise, and aligned with DepEd's standards on action research.
📋 2. Follow Submission Guidelines
All manuscripts will be assessed using the criteria stated in the annexes of DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2017. These include:
- Relevance to the basic education context;
- Coherence and clarity of thought and structure;
- Technical quality (grammar, formatting, citations);
- Potential for application or replication in other educational settings.
Additionally, to uphold academic integrity and originality:
- Similarity Index must be no greater than 15%. (Reports will be verified via plagiarism detection software.)
- AI Generative Content Certification must be no greater than 20%. (We accept studies that may have used AI as assistance, but not as a replacement for critical authorship.)
Failure to meet these thresholds will result in the study being returned for revision or disqualified from publication.
📤 3. Upload & Review
When ready, upload your manuscript through our official submission portal. Every study undergoes review by the Sta. Ana JARS Research Editorial Board, who will:
- Ensure compliance with all submission policies;
- Evaluate content for academic quality and integrity;
- Provide feedback for improvement, if necessary;
- Determine readiness for inclusion in a future Sta. Ana JARS issue.
Final acceptance is subject to a multi-level review process, ensuring the study meets both district and division-level standards.
